Unit Supply Specialist (U.S. Army)


Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be a United States Citizen or Green Card Holder 
  • Education - Current Senior in High School (HS), HS Diploma, GED or higher.

Army Unit Supply Specialist
The unit supply specialist is primarily responsible for supervising or performing tasks involving the general upkeep and maintenance of all Army supplies and equipment. As a supply specialist, you have the ability to promote to supervisory and manager-level positions where you will be in charge of the training and development of supply generalists.

Core Responsibilities:
This job has a wide variety of duties, which include…
  • Receiving, inspecting, loading, segregating, and delivering installation supplies and equipment.
  • Operating computer software – primarily Microsoft Excel.
  • Preparing and filing unit supply documentation.
  • Maintain the accuracy of all transactions within organizational and installation property books and supporting transaction files.
  • Maintaining an automated supply system for accounting of organizational and installation supplies and equipment.
  • Securing and controlling weapons and ammunition in security areas.
  • Scheduling and performing preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.

Additional Requirements: 
  • Attend Basic and advanced training (Paid).
  • Complete the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB).
  • Submit to the background and medical screening.
